Dr. Deacon, a board certified pediatrician, has been caring for children and their families for over 30 years. She began her career as a hospital based pediatric nurse. She returned to school to become a pediatrician with the desire to form ongoing relationships with children and their parents and assist in their development. She has been practicing as a pediatrician for 17 years, starting her own practice 5 years ago, Shore Touch Pediatrics, Toms River, New Jersey with the intent to form a practice where relationships were nourished. In addition, she has been teaching pediatric residents and medical students and established a Touchpoints site at Children's Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center.
