Dr. Brescia is a clinical child psychologist and family therapist in
private practice in Belmont, Massachusetts. She is a graduate of Cornell
University, Boston College, and the Cambridge Family Institute. Dr.
Brescia has worked as part of a clinical team in several teaching hospital
settings. At McLean Hospital she supervised psychology interns and was
an Instructor in Psychology, Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical
School. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Brescia has developed
and taught numerous workshops and training programs for parents, preschool
teachers, daycare providers, childbirth educators, as well as for a
family network organization who mission is the prevention of child abuse.
She consults regularly to preschools as an early childhood behavioral
specialist. At the Brazelton Institute, Dr. Brescia is working on the development of new programs.
