A symposium on "The NBAS: new clinical developments and recent research" will be presented at the World Conference in Infant Mental Health (WAIMH) in Paris on July 9th 2006. Dr. Brazelton will chair the symposium. Joao Gomes Pedro (Portugal) will speak on "Thirty Years of Clinical Work with the NBAS;" Nadia Bruschweiler-Stern (Switzerland) will speak on "Moments of meeting: Key moments for therapeutic change in neonatal interventions;" and Joanna Hawthorne (UK) will present "Supporting parents in Neonatal Units with the NBAS." Edith Thouelle and Martine Vermilland (France) will discuss "An original clinical application of a 'transcribed' NBAS for blind mothers;" and J. Kevin Nugent (USA) will present data on "The effects of the NBO on postnatal depression." The Discussant will be Joshua Sparrow (US).
